Evenings for Two

Your guide to romance, fine dining and fun in the Triangle, NC.

Amra’s and Your Chance to Vote for your Favorite Hole in the Wall Restaurant

A friend asked me for a romantic destination in Raleigh and I realized its been a long time since I’ve visited that corner of the Triangle.  Was still able to recommend Amra’s.  This place has a great vibe.  It’s classy and intimate.  They often have live music that thankfully starts around 9 or 9:30 so you can actually catch a set before heading home to the babysitter.  Plus it’s on Glenwood South so it’s easy to walk over after dinner.

I’ll try to get over to Raleigh soon to get you some new info from the Capital city.  Until then, I’m working on a new story for Southern Neighbor on favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurants.  Currently on the list are Fiesta Grill and Indian Palace on West Franklin.  I’d love to get your suggestions….[Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Durham, Carrboro only — sorry Wake folks but that’s the distribution area].
