Southern Rail
Had lunch at Southern Rail on a Wednesday a few weeks back. They get a mention because when they explained the sides, they said that the chef just goes over to the Carrboro Farmer’s Market (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and picks up whatever he thinks looks good and that becomes the side for the day.
Buy local, be a locavore, support local farmers. All good.
Inside tip: This place has a great atmosphere but when you go make sure you have plenty of time.
